You all might
have got this suggestion to give interviews in that language in which you are
comfortable. But very less people might have told you that it is the half-truth
only one face of the coin. The Complete story neither anyone told you nor you
tried to find out because speaking in Hindi comes in your comfort zone and you
accepted the fact that if you could provide technical knowledge in a good way
despite speaking in Hindi, everything would go fine. So, let me tell me those
things which you do not know and all that through a personal experience We have
a friend and he recently went for an interview and he is okay in speaking
English but if given an option to give an interview whether in Hindi or English, So he will choose Hindi language. And most of
us are same and comes in the same category. We can speak English understand it
even better but when we call customer care, we always press 1 and choose Hindi
So, he started the interview he was quite strong technically so as soon as the
interviewer asked question, he gave the answer but in Hindi, and then one of
the interviewers among the panel which was there interrupted him and said that
in the CV that he has given to the panel, he has mentioned that he can SPEAK English
too i.e. He can READ, WRITE & SPEAK English. So, the interviewer asked him
to continue the interview in English. This is very Important thing to note. We all make the same mistake. We write in the CV that we can READ, WRITE & SPEAK English, but always try to give the interview in Hindi Language. So, if the
interviewer is the one who observes you and your CV a lot like in the case of
my friend then he takes note of it and point out that you have mentioned that
you can speak English so better to give interviews in English only So, how to
skip this situation? You have two options if you do not have to give interviews in English, so, do not mention that you can SPEAK English and if you are mentioning them is ready to speak this can be prompted by the interviewer Why
am I saying this that do not mention? Because there are 2 types of interviewers one who observes you very closely and the other one who does not care. So, if it is the 1st type, then he will catch
you like in the case of my friend and if he is the 2nd type, then he will not
even notice that you have not mentioned SPEAK in case of English Language So, I
both cases, you will be saved See, you need to understand Golden Rule to
understand the job position you are going to give interviews for. What is your role in the Job position? Like I am making this video for those people who like to give interviews in Hindi, so I tried to make this video in Hindi for them.
Let me explain you with an example about the GOLDEN RULE if you are going for
any technical position, whether it is Engineer or technician so, you know most
of your work would be technical and most of your interaction would be within the company itself so, in this case Hindi or English, it does not matter. You
must give the interview purely on your technical knowledge. Unless if you are
going for any managerial positions Ex: MT, Manager, Asst. Manager, then in this
case you must know how to speak properly.
